How smoking damage our lungs?
Smoking can seriously hurt your lungs. Smoking damages your lungs natural cleaning and repair system slowly and catches cancer reasoning chemicals in your lungs. Smoking demolishes the tiny hairs, which line the upper airways and defends alongside infection. Actually there is a thin layer of mucous and thousands of these small hairs which called cilia, inside layer the surrounded by of breathing tube. The mucous ensnares the little bits of dirt and pollution in our breath, and the cilia move jointly like a wave to push the dirt-filled mucous out of our lungs. Afterward we cough, swallow or spit up the mucous, and the dirt is out of our lungs immediately.
When our lungs natural cleaning and repair system got damaged then germs, dirt and chemicals from cigarette remain inside our lungs. When these particles stay inside then it increase the risks of chronic cough, chest infection, lung cancer etc. smoking enduringly smash up’s the alveoli (air sacs) in the lungs, creating it too hard to breath. The alveoli, little air sacs are at the tilts of our lungs and built like small flexible balloons. When we breathe the alveoli helps us to absorb oxygen into our body and the same as we breathe out, alveoli helps us get out of carbon dioxide from our body. Carbon dioxide is also harmful gas. Smoking hurts that many our lungs, and it makes our alveoli less flexible. And then it is very hard to breath in oxygen which we need and also extremely difficult to get rid of carbon dioxide from our body.
When the alveoli damaged like this then we may feel hard to breath and tired. And in this situation our heart pumps with very hardness to provide the oxygen to our body means our hearts done overtime. And this overtime may cause the heart diseases too. We can recognize the symptoms of lungs damages and if the smokers saw these symptoms they should consult the doctor like, coughing, spitting up mucous, repeat chest infection, and feeling out of breathe when climb up’s the stairs.
These signs not only the symptoms but these are the real fact that we have damaged our lungs so if avoid smoking or decrease this habit gradually then we can keep away from dangerous diseases our self.
