Domain Name System was first created in 1980 where it was simply divided in two groups; a top level domain and the other associated one. At present the domain name space is defined by Domain Tree comprised by DNS, which starts from root domain and is divided in multiple nodes, these nodes are subdivided in zones and provide associated information.
Registration of domain names is quite an easy process yet before that one has to check the availability of the names. The popularity and the availability of these names are somehow dependant on the regional location you are present in. For example if you want to have your domain by ending in com or org. you will enter your chosen phrase or domain name in the search box, choose the desired top domain and check availability. Now if you want to have an extension with the top domain, for example; you want your domain ending in com.uk or org.pk or with some different, here you are using extensions as UK and pk.
