Environment is a wider term than the surrounding and includes living and non living creatures making a community. In other words it cannot be taken as a small surrounding place rather it constitutes the sharing term for the creatures living on the planet.

Like other factors, environment on the earth also evolved gradually. With the prime birth of life, our environment was just a cloudy cluster of gases, vapors and micro organisms with the amazing speed of reproduction. The flora and fauna were also unlimited. It was mostly based on the random symmetry of the organisms. Though man survived in this environment yet he had to realize that nature was too harsh if he had to live in the same way.

It was thus that human activities started disturbing or molding natural environment in order to bring it in his favor. Thus first change was brought out through cultivation and cutting and farming the land. It was after hard trial that he succeeded to be friendly with the natural environment.

As far as a change is concerned; it is not sudden in case of environment. Many factors work continuously for many years and the appearance start taking place gradually. It is after the completion of a whole process when an environmental change is observed.

The basic factor bringing these changes is surely human activity. Anything against the natural balance can be the reason of a negative change in the system. Last century has been remarkable for holding such changes. Too much fuel consumption and vehicle smoke led to the assimilation of poisonous gases which became source of death of aquatic, land and air life. The badly polluted areas where factories are located are the most affected if we talk in terms of deterioration of environment. More fuel combustion and less soothing factors destroy the beauty and caused pollutants to endanger many species including human life.

Ironically human life is standing at the verge where it faces the maximum of environmental changes. Human efforts of cutting all trees and green lands for making area industrial made the balance to be lost. As a result the land faced erosion and became barren or so salty where nothing is possible to grow out. The result was the loss of agricultural products with number of problems of water table beneath the earth rising in its level and spoiling the texture of the ground.

The world has never seen such drastic changes as brought after the use of nuclear material by the man. Glaciers on the poles of the world were blessed by the nature to protect the planet like the two opposing doors. Human use of intense raids and atomic material has led to the severe changes in the climate. The climate has changed overall and no geography seems to reserve its natural possession. Nuclear wars had led to the melting of the ice on the poles; as a result amount of water gathering at seas is unlimited which brings floods and Tsunamis every year. A second thing associated with the melting of glaciers is the increase in the temperature with every passing year. Every year the recorded heat increases with the arrival of the next year.

This change is not only bringing severe affects just on the human life rather it is affecting the aquatic life like anything. Many species have become endangered and many are gone extinct. The reason is that they have lost the required temperature for their survival. Sea life is also suffering with the terrestrial life. Global Climatic Organizations have started working on the plans designed to control the global warming which all seem helpless until the use of atomic weapons is abolished.

Ozone; a natural blanket which protected the earth like a mother is no more secure by the invasion of human activities. It has lost its completeness and is having many gaps in its sheet. These gaps are not natural neither they are discovered lately yet these are result of the excessive usage of tetrachloro floro carbon which is used in aerosol sprays and refrigerator gases. Apart from these many other spoiling material stealthily accumulate in the atmosphere and reach the ozone where they do find their place and lead the destruction.

The destruction of ozone is probably the worst change our world will suffer with if it happens. The security of human life from the ultra violet rays is through this sheet that they cannot pass through it and stay outer our planet. Imagine had earth been transparent to the sun, all the heat and every outcome of the sun will ultimately reach the planet and life will disappear within seconds. Or it will be sick by having multiple diseases like Cancer and many skin inflammation diseases. Therefore the net global warming is increasing by the lost part of the ozone which is alarming.

The over usage of underground reservoirs is leading to the excessive consumption of these resources and the result is that the earth layers are changing in their nature and type of the material they are made up of. Lava and volcanic eruptions are becoming more often and sudden as compared to the previous decades. The earthquakes are a result of the fact that the mountains below the crust are finding space to glide which brings on surface destruction and balance.

All the above mentioned factors have affected on environment in negative way. The sole hand behind all these is of human. Human activities must be controlled and measured if we want a secure environment which can assure our safety without any climatic or aquatic danger.

It is only possible when human beings stop using nuclear material and atomic stuff in their expressions of anguish. This is the only way through which the planet can be rehabilitated on its natural constituents without further destruction. One thing is to be notice; once if the environment is changed in its essence, nothing can stop death knocking at the door of earth because it is all irreversible.
