Use of plastic bags is harmful

Every once in a while the government here passed an order to prohibit shop owners from providing plastic bags to customers for making their purchases with little lasting effect. Plastic bags are very popular with both retailers and consumers because they are cheap, strong, light, functional and hygienic means of transport food and other goods. Even if they are one of the modern amenities that seem to be unable to do without, they are responsible for causing pollution, killing wildlife, and using up precious resources of the earth. About a hundred billion plastic bags are used each year in the U,S. And then when you take into account economies and huge populations in India, China, Europe, and elsewhere, numbers can be staggering.

The problem is exacerbated by developed countries on the shipping plastic waste in developing countries like India. Here are some of the harmful effects of plastic bags: Plastic bags litter the landscape. Once they are used, most plastic bags go into landfills or landfills. Each year, more and more plastic bags end up littering the environment. Once they become garbage, plastic bags find their way into our interiors, parks, beaches and streets. And if they are burned, have infused the air with toxic gases. Plastic bags kill animals. Approximately 100,000 animals such as dolphins, whales, turtles, penguins are killed every year because of plastic bags. Many animals ingest plastic bags, mistaking them for food, and therefore die. And worse, ingested plastic bag remains intact even after death and decomposition of the animal. Thus, it was around the scene in which another victim can ingest. Plastic bags are non-biodegradable. And one of the most serious environmental impact of plastic bags is that they are non-biodegradable. Decomposing plastic bags take about 1,000 years.

Petroleum is required to produce plastic bags. As for oil is declining and becoming more expensive by the day since I have been using these non-renewable resource increasingly. Petroleum is vital to our way of modern life. It is necessary for our energy requirements – for our factories, transport, heating, lighting, and so on. Without viable alternative energy sources still on the horizon, where the oil deliveries would be stopped, could lead to practically the whole world grinding to a halt. Of course, this precious resource should not be wasted on the production of plastic bags, should it? So what can be done about the use of plastic bags? Disposable plastic bags have become such a pervasive way of life that it seems that if you simply cannot do without them. However, if we will, we can begin to reduce their use in small ways. A tote bag can make a good substitute for holding shopping. You can keep cahier bag and then put your purchases in it instead of the usual plastic bag. Recycling plastic bags you already have is another good idea. They can come into use for various purposes such as keeping garbage, instead of buying new. While governments may be ways of working to reduce the environmental impact of plastic bags, however, each of us should shoulder some responsibility for this problem, which ultimately harms us.

Now and again, while the government passed a here from providing plastic bags to the store owner to prohibit customers for shopping with little lasting effect. Plastic bags are very popular with dealers and consumers because they are cheap, strong, light, practical and hygienic means for transporting food and other goods. Even if one of the modern amenities that are not able, without, they are responsible for polluting the environment, animals dead, and with the earth’s resources seem precious.

About a hundred billion plastic bags are annually in the United States. And then, if one takes into account population and size of economies in India, China, Europe can be staggering figures and meetings elsewhere. The problem is the shipping costs in developed countries such as India tightened plastic wastes in developing countries.

Here are some of the harmful effects of plastic bags:

Plastic garbage bags landscape. Once they are used, most plastic bags in landfills or dumps. Every year more and more bags littering the environment. And when burned have infused the air with toxic gases.

Plastic animals are dead. Animals such as dolphins about 100,000, whales, turtles, penguins die each year because of plastic bags. Many animals take plastic bags they mistake for food, and therefore die. Worse still, even after the death of the animal ingested plastic bag and decay intact. It was the scene round in which it can take another victim.

Plastic bags are not biodegradable. And one of the most serious environmental impacts of plastic bags is that they are not biodegradable. Decompose plastic bags take over 1,000 years.

Petroleum is required to produce plastic bags. Petroleum is vital for our type of modern life. It is necessary for our energy needs – for our factories, transport, heating, lighting, and so on. Without alternative sources of energy yet on the horizon, where the supply of oil was stopped, was practically the whole world to stop loads. Valuable course they should not be wasted on the production of plastic bags resource, should it?

So what can be done on the use of plastic bags?

Become like a disposable plastic bag pervasive way of life that it seems that if you simply not do without. However, if we do, we can begin to reduce their use in small ways.
